Our New Carbon Fiber Hood is as much a work of art as it is completely functional. This hood was modeled in California and manufactured using Aerospace Technology. The hood features an enlarged enter air duct for increased cooling,fully rolled edges, aluminum hinge plates, a chrome latch assembly and our Exclusive bonding system supplied by 3M. All this adds up to a high quality piece that is significantly lighter than the OEM Steel hood.

This Hood is manufactured with a Carbon-Core process and features a Ultra UV Resistant clear coat. This hood is fully buffed and polished and has an excellent visual finish. The hood inner retains all of the factory reinforcements and retains air functionality and drain holes. These hoods include fully bonded aluminum hinge plates, which ensure a vibration free fitment. The inner is finished in a black gel coat, which can be left unpainted.

The hinge plates are made of 60-61 aluminum flat-stock laminated to the inside of the hood. They are then drilled and tapped WITHOUT using t-nut inserts. This method offers sheer strength and safety in a front-end collision. Our supplier's have crash tested the hoods, and have never had one dislodge from the hinges.
