There are only a few key points of the vast difference between an extremely high quality piece with a heritage of successful Subaru accomplishments within a short time frame and the rest that have tried to follow on those footsteps. In 2004, when the STI FIRST came out, FOUNDER of Rally America, Dave Haver, had a BRAND NEW STI delivered to our shop and we created a complete turn-key package for his vehicle including our Front Mount Intercooler Kit. We have in fact been selling these Front Mount Intercooler Kits successfully for the past 7, coming up to 8 years now, one of the very first in the market.

1. Our package will allow for power ranges of 300 to 900 horsepower guaranteed, as we have truly proven it with our Stage 3 packages (gaining 30+ hp over a Stage 2 tune) to as large Crawford Performance GT37R twin scroll turbo kits.

2. The intercooler is a one piece bolt on intercooler for a cleaner, more professional and sturdier installation versus a mounting bar for the intercooler. This is a dedicated piece for Subaru’s, specifically the 02-07 Impreza Turbo line and the 08 Impreza Turbo line not found on any other front mount intercooler package. We do not reuse intercoolers from other kits for other adaptations, we would consider this cheap.

3. Our kits also allow for our customers to upgrade to our Crawford rotated turbo kit with the change of one or two small pipes. No need for additional piping, new intercoolers, etc…. This keeps it cheaper and easier to upgrade down the road while being a proven, reliable, package for almost all applications.

4. Intercooler packages include six layer solid black silicon hose that is produced in the USA developed for these kits for ensure against leak protection and durability for years to come.

5. High quality T-Bolt clamps made in the USA are used in these kits to ensure a tight fitment and secure boost levels above 45+ PSI.

6. All intercooler pies are Jet Hot coated to ensure hot air stays in the pipes between the turbo and the intercooler while also ensuring that the pipes stay cool between the intercooler and the throttle body. We have also made sure the intercooler pipes do not cross over each other, so that we can ensure cool temperatures into the throttle body.

7. We have taken great skill in designing our end tank system to flow as smoothly as possible which allows for lower pressure drops and more efficient cooling. Whereas the end tanks on most aftermarket intercoolers are in such a position that air flow is restricted as it flows through them. Having this issue with any intercooler hinders performance and response.

8. We DO NOT coat/color our intercoolers to ensure the most efficient cooling throughout the core. Coated/colored cores inhibit cooling not only on the end tanks but especially the fins of the core, while also chipping away as the cores age.

9. Our end tanks are hand bent and are hand brushed aluminum for a superior “higher end” look. This is a truly a work of art not found on cast end tanks. While not only looking sexy, they have a much higher cooling efficiency and are 7 pounds lighter than our previous cast version, due to thick casting techniques. This “higher end” look is much cleaner and more aggressive look that our customers have all fallen in love with.

10. We have kits designed to work with all 2002-Present Turbo right hand drive model Subaru’s.

11. And the most important part of all, these kits are hand built in the USA, including mandrel bent piping, hand formed end tanks, and welding. We support America and hope you do to.
