The next level of street performance is the S3L – Street Block designated originally in order to withstand Sport Compact Car’s most grueling challenge, the Ultimate Street Car Challenge. Not only did this block make more power than any previous Subaru during this competition, it also took second place at the drag strip while finishing 2nd overall.

Each long block is professionally balanced and assembled in a clean room environment in order to create the most reliable engines available on the market. While these blocks are able to withstand the horrors of the Ultimate Street Car Challenge, they can also be driven to and from the race track with rock-solid reliability and drivability.

While the balanced block can rev very high, adapting long rod ratios to the block has allowed the high revving engine to rev even more effortlessly, especially at stratospheric RPM. This, in turn, has pushed this engine setup to be one of the fastest 2.5-liter turbo blocks on the market.

The Street-Prepped heads have been daily driven to and from the race track and then proven on the race track for ultimate performance. Designed to give you the potential from various short block options without sacrificing driveability around town and in traffic.
