The Touring Package is designed for endurance events such as the One Lap of America or La Carrera of Mexico. The One Lap of America endurance event involves challenges drivers to drive their vehicle to race venues all over the United States. They have to compete at each of the 10 tracks along the 4,500 mile route in only 15 short days. This package took part in One Lap of America and was driven to each event through a variety of weather conditions:
• 20 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit
• 0-6000 ft of altitude
• 0-90 percent humidity
• Rain, sleet, snow, and the occasional sunny day
This was all done while running on pure 91 octane pump gas.
Our most popular touring package is designed for heavy track and constant abuse, while being able to compete with championship-caliber time attack vehicles. At the core of the package is the strongest and most winning 2.7-liter engine on the market. This has allowed Crawford Performance to develop the perfect stepping stone between ultimate daily driver and pure race car. Being a touring package retains the creature comforts, including cruise control, air conditioning, and the OEM engine management system professionally tuned by Crawford Performance.
While the GT35R (.82A/R) reaches peak pressure of 20 PSI before 3900 RPM, it also generates more than 100 ft/lbs more torque than the Ultimate Street Car Package on 91 octane and has an improved redline of 8000 RPM. The mid size GT30R (.63 A/R) turbo is the fastest spooling turbo package with the widest power band on the market, reaching full boost of 20 PSI by 3500 RPM while pulling all the way to a redline of 8000. The Touring Package is designed to have the perfect balance between quick tight venues and wide open tracks while still being able to be driven on the street.
