This exhaust was designed for Ken Block and the Gymkhana Cars, but was originally inspired by the Crawford Performance Time Attack Race Car with one main reason behind this system, to be heard.
With a life-long background in racing, Quirt Crawford came up with an exhaust design that adds reverberation to the sound. The result is a doubling of the sound amplitude in effort to make the exhaust audible over the rest of the race track. It produces a loud, but deep sounding rumble, unlike anything on the market.
The Gymkhana One exhaust is designed to work with the original Crawford Performance Signature Series Exhaust mid pipe. Current owners of our original exhaust need only to purchase the axel back portion. The versatility of the midpipe allows the end user to run the Signature Series Exhaust on the street (please read local state and country rules), and the Gymkhana One exhaust on the track. Not only is the exhaust a fair amount lighter than our Signature Series exhaust, but the engine soundtrack is audible on the track, even with a helmet on. This is a great advantage for those racers that drive their cars based on the sound and feel of the engine.
The most influential feature of this system is the not only the look but its unique sound. While the look is fantastic for the Gymkhana Exhaust, it may possibly be one of the loudest and definitely the most unique sounding exhausts ever produced. not only will you be heard on the street but the main focus is for being heard at the race track. With a simple two bolt removal of your Crawford Performance Signature Series Exhaust and installation of your Gymkhana Axel Back you are now ready for the track.
