Crawford RS-Reflash SRS-10

Crawford's reprogrammed RS-ECU for the 1999 to 2004 model years of the Subaru Impreza RS. While being the only reprogrammed RS-ECU on the market it also retains all the features of OEM ECU, including reliability and safety features not available in any other aftermarket system.

Crawford RS-ECU

Through calibration of the ignition map tables and closed/open loop fuel map tables, we're able to produce reliable yet powerful reprogrammed ECU's on our in house Dynapack Dyno. The reliability, and safety benefits of the OEM ECU far outweigh many other options that are available on the market. All you need to do is "Step On The Gas".

If I reset my ECU will I lose the map?
No, the ECU has been reprogrammed, therefore the ECU will not lose the tune or license.

If I have an Automatic ECU, can I get my ECU reprogrammed?
Yes, the ECU in the Automatic can be reprogrammed for your model ECU as they are nearly identical to the manual ECU's.

Can you use the RS-ECU on any RS?
At this time, custom programmed ECU's are available for 1999-2004. As for shelf maps, what is available online is what we have so far. As soon as we develop more maps we will start offering them also.

What if my model year / modifications are not available?
Options:

1. Drive your car to our shop and get it dyno programmed
2. Receive the latest updates via our e-mail list
3. Inquiry - we may or may not be able to offer a solution.

Will forced induction RS tuning be available?
No, we will not be offering forced induction programming due to the fact that the ECU can not compensate effectively and correctly for forced induction applications. If you would like have a forced induction RS with drivability, safety and reliability, we would recommend a RS-WRX or RS-STi conversion, for more information please click here

Will dyno programming be offered?
Yes, we will be offering dyno programming at our regular dyno programming rates. This is an additional charge to the license fee and associated base map.

Customer Quote:
When I drove home from Crawford, I'll admit that I had buyer's remorse for about 5 minutes. As I was headed for the hwy, all I noticed was that the car shifted smoother. That made no sense to me, and I still can't figure it out. Aside from that, the car sounded like it was more relaxed - like it didn't have to work as hard as it did before the reflash.

Then I got onto the highway, and the term "buyer's remorse" no longer applied. I mashed on the gas and off I went. I felt the difference and thought 'Not bad.' Then I looked at my speedometer and said 'Holy s#!t!' I was at 105 mph when I thought I would barely be approaching 100.

Whenever traffic permitted, I was doing no less than 80mph. As I exited the fwy, I realized that it was time for me to pick up my little brother from school. It was actually he that pointed out to me the change in the intake and exhaust note. He also noticed the difference in power.

Later in the evening, I went out with my friend for dinner. I let him drive my car. He had no idea that I went for the reflash and when he punched it, his comment was that my car was pulling harder than usual and attributed it to the cold weather. I later explained to him that I got it done. He didn't believe me until I showed him the receipt.

By the end of the night, I had traveled 308 miles - mostly highway averaging 80 mixed with sprints to 100+ every so often. Driving that way, I'd normally get 263 miles (mind you I live in L.A. where stop and go traffic is ridiculous). That's an increase of approximately 4.5 mpg.
